Welcome to the GLO Platform (a "Site"), hosted by GLO Global Limited ("GrowLab Organics", "GLO", "we", "us", and/or "our"). GLO provides a cloud platform for on-demand natural, medical product information, related condition and profile management and analytical tools ("Services").

In order to provide our Site and Services (collectively, "Platform"), we collect personal data from our customers ("Patients"). Throughout this Privacy Policy, "personal information" or "personal data" refers to any information that is unique to an individual, such as name, address, email address, phone number, IP address and other information that can reasonably identify an individual.

GrowLab Organics IOM Limited is part of the GLO Global Group which includes GLO Technologies Limited. This privacy policy will explain how our organisation uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our Platform.

What data do we collect?

GLO collects the following data from our Patients:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, age, gender, address).
  • Medical information (condition, symptoms, treatment, history).
  • GP information (surgery name, address, email address, telephone number).

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide GLO with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

  • Register online for an account.
  • Voluntarily complete a Patient survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our Platform via your browser's cookies.
  • Complete our Patient account setup forms.
  • Voluntarily complete a research study form.
  • Provide feedback on your current treatment and experiences.
  • Share details on the effectiveness of our products.

How will we use your data?

GLO collects your data so that we can:

  • Ensure you are legally permitted to consume Cannabis based products for medicinal use in the UK and are over 18 years old, to meet our regulatory requirements.
  • Responsibly and securely share your condition, health and other medical information with healthcare professionals to assess your suitability for medicinal Cannabis.
  • Analyse your health, condition and product feedback to conduct research so we can improve our products and services.
  • Provide you with a personalised experience, such as displaying relevant products and information.
  • Email you with special offers and other products and services that we think you may like.

We share your personal and medical information with the following partner clinics to assess your suitability for Cannabis based products for medicinal use.

How do we store your data?

GLO securely stores your data at a London data centre, owned and operated by an AICPA SOC 3 compliant hosting provider. Your personal and medical information is secured using the following methods:

  • Encryption on the physical server where our database is hosted.
  • Encryption at rest using transparent data encryption.
  • Encryption in transit using SSL/TLS.

GLO encryption uses the industry standard AES-256 encryption algorithm to encrypt your data.

GLO will keep your personal and medical information on our systems for 5 years. Once this period has expired, we will delete your data by scrubbing any personally identifiable information.

Children's Privacy

GLO does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal data through the Platform. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide their personal data on our Platform without their permission.

If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided personal data to GLO through the Platform, please contact [email protected] and we will endeavour to delete that information from our systems.

Marketing

GLO would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you may like. If you have agreed to receive marketing emails, you may opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop GLO from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the GLO Global Group.

GLO would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
